Throughout my career, I’ve believed that some of the most surprising and enlightening things about leadership, life, and human nature often arrive from unexpected places. For me, that place has always been baseball.

I’m happy to announce the release of my 1st book of baseball poetry, stories, and musings entitled The Dreamlife of Teddy Baseball: derived from real life experiences both on and off the field — a collection that moves between the chalk lines of the diamond and the deeper terrain of lived experience. These poems and reflections enjoy contradiction. They sit with it, the way a batter sits with a full count, trusting that something meaningful is about to happen. This book is an invitation to slow down, look closer, and find the game within the game. I hope you enjoy it.
